That ending HURT. That is all. That is my review.

Just kidding.

A Monsoon Rising follows Talasyn and Alaric as they battle their political marriage, unrequited feelings, and hidden agendas both set to destroy the other.

Dragons and aethermagic, secrets, so many secrets. Twists turns and a betrayals, A Monsoon Rising was slow to start, but by the end I was holding onto my seat for dear life.

I have serious concerns for how things will go and how this will be fixed. There’s some big secrets hiding out in book 2 that I cannot wait to come to light in book 3. I need to strangle some characters, and my entire feelings towards others have changed tremendously. I’m really concerned for when Khaede re-appears. I’m just sensing some more serious betrayal.

I cannot wait for book 3 to release. Everyone should read this series!

Thank you to the author and Harper Collins for a review copy. All opinions are my own.
