My favorite book of the series

I just love this series so much. This book is packed with so much action, I think it’s my favorite of the trilogy. Emi really comes into her own strength in this book and while the other Yokai won’t or don’t say it you can tell from their interactions that they start to place trust in her (especially Yumei). Me personally, I would have rolled over and died in the Misty Valley, just straight given up. This is probably the only series I have returned to repeatedly since I read it when it first came out, I can’t talk enough about how amazing it is.
