The Vanishing of Carolyn Wells: Investigations into a Forgotten Mystery Author by Rebecca Rego Barry

5.0

Enjoyed the audio version. Carolyn Wells was a popular writer, successful in a variety of genres, yet goes virtually unknown today. Barry tracks down every scrap of information she can find about Wells, who had no literary executor or official archive, and the result is a bio that reads like a mystery novel at times.

Thanks to Libro for the ALC. I just ordered the hardcover because I want to dig into the notes and bibliography.
