I was happy to be back with these aliens again!
Pros: new alien species, new setting, new culture to be introduced to
Cons: I wasn't a huge fab of Verakko's attitude, but it wasn't anything too par for the coarse in an alien story. I do wish there was a better follow up for their relationship vis-a-vis this, though.
I still enjoyed this read and moved on to the next.
Reread thoughts:
I enjoyed this couple much more the second time around! The Virakko’s lying wasn’t as much of a problem for me (probably because I was already aware of it). I really enjoyed the couple’s dynamic and how each story in this series is so different from the last. This is kinda like if Romancing The Stone was happening on an alien planet.
