It has been around 18 months since I first experienced Saga but also since I last read it. I think the somewhat expanded cast means that at times I felt as though I was playing catch-up but that is user error. I do think that it has been written in a way that is quite accessible even if you have a memory like mine. This volume packed a lot of emotional punch and continued the theme of never shying from the cost of war, especially in a manner that means the ones dying are the ones who deserve it the least. This was such a good volume and I am always overjoyed to have more Saga!
