Crossing lines is the second book in the series but you can read it as a standalone. In this series follow a group of lgbt college hockey players. The second book focuses on Jonah and the his love interest Ryan who happens to be the new coach.
The two of them are attracted to each other immediately but they try to keep their distance. Fate has other plans though and keeps bringing them closer and they eventually start a secret relationship.
I really liked Jonah and Ryan together, they were both very caring and loving and I was rooting for them. I did feel that they didn't do a good job keeping the relationship a secret. They were a bit careless but I did find the ending satisfying.
Another thing thing that I liked in the book was the relationship between Ryan and his mother.
Great addition to the series, I can't wait to read the next one.
