La Belle au Bois Dormant by Pierre Lambert

Disney's Sleeping Beauty from 1959 is more than a princess story, more than a animated classic Disney film, more than a children's movie...it is art. It is also my favorite movie from Disney's repertoire.

The supremely talented, Eyvind Earle, oversaw the production of this movie and led the art department's direction in style and tone for this film. Widescreen and lush with color and inspiration, Sleeping Beauty is a stunning work of art.

The pictures in this book are breathtaking, capturing the making of such a glorious movie with shiny, full color images. Cels and sketches alike fill up this book.

The content is exactly right for this book, it does exactly what the pictures do—telling a story about the making of this masterpiece.
