I think about Ryan as the modern author that brings Philosophy to the common people. He's very clear on his ideas, the book full of references, not just from Seneca, Marcus Aurelius and their gang.

For me, the most incredible history that I will take with me will be the history of how Malcolm X learn to read only with a dictionary, a pen and a block of paper sheets. This will be an example pretty present on my days to come. How much value lies in those books, how important they are as tools for our self education, to seek more culture, be better human beings and to break free from our chains of ignorance.
