The Empire Strikes Back by Donald F. Glut
3.0
I have to admit... I don't even really like "Empire Strikes Back" all that much. I know that opinion is heresy and grounds for excommunication. And it's not that I dislike it particularly -- it's just that it somehow fails to induce the joy that most of the other Star Wars movies do. I find it somewhat boring, which is crazy because people overwhelmingly rate ESB as nearly their favorite Star Wars movie! I'm not sure what other people are seeing that I'm missing, especially given how much I love ANH and ROTJ.
That said, this book is literally a slightly meatier screenplay of the ESB movie, except that:
Other than that, there's literally nothing in this book that couldn't be more enjoyably experienced by watching the movie. Kind of disappointing, since I love novelizations typically for the extra windows they can give you into things that couldn't be shown by a 2 hour long visual experience, and I was hoping to get a new perspective on ESB and maybe enjoy it a little more.

• Yoda is blue???
• When Leia says "I love you" Han doesn't say "I know," but rather the original script's longer line.
