The Whisper Man by Alex North

5.0

I loved this mystery. It wasn’t as creepy as some describe but it had its moments. I loved the character development and the father-son dynamics. It was refreshing to read a story where the main character was man and better yet a father instead of same damsel in Distress all the time. Love a female lead but sometimes I love reading a male perspective. These characters were flawed but you rooted for them. There was a few elements of supernatural and... spoiler alert possibly...

I wish it had went in that directions. It would have made it a bit more spooky. It was definitely a page turner for me tho and I did enjoy it. I will say tho even tho I loved this book, I could have done without the last bit. Last chapter or was it the epilogue. Whichever. I don’t care for that last piece. I wish it was left out. Or that it went in the opposite way
