Wes was a dream! Loved his character development in this book and just how caring and thoughtful he was and the way the author handled his struggle with depression. My only complaints that caused me to dock 1.25 stars is that I didn’t find the FMC very relatable to me personally, I kept stopping and had to convince myself to get back into the book to finish it, and the spice was lesser than the first book in my opinion. The FMC may very well be someone else’s cup of tea, and the ending was super sweet (LOVE the ending), but the slowness through the middle and 75% point was personally the biggest issue for me. Definitely looking forward to the next book though and overall recommend the series so far!
