Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky
Did not finish book. Stopped at 56%.
Children of Time can only be described as compelling, thought-provoking, brilliant…..and boring.
I have come to terms with the fact that I simply cannot force myself to care about stories that are not character driven. And this story is not character driven. The book builds a compelling world with evolutionary questions. The writing is phenomenal.

This book will be a 5 star read for a different type of reader than me, and that’s okay. I just cannot do it any more.
