Dear Bartleby by Sarah Wallace
5.0
This was really sweet. It, like the first book in this series, is told in epistolary style, through the main character's diary entries. The story is very character-driven and slow (fans of the cosy genre will enjoy it), with the second half also featuring a romance plot.
I enjoyed the romance plot. The love interest is a trans man, which is always a win in my books.
Probably my favourite part of the story was Seb learning his self-worth and reconnecting with his family again. There's a scene near the end where he has a heart-to-heart with his father that made me quite emotional.
