Lindy West is so funny and so smart and while I don’t think I’d ever want to live in anyone’s brain she’d be someone I would consider! I liked that this was about cancel culture but also much more than that, talking about how we must all be honest with ourselves and with each other to become a society/planet we dream of living on. So much of white supremacy, misogyny, etc is deeply based off of lies and deception, and Lindy makes a strong case for looking frankly at ourselves in the mirror and moving beyond petty and meaningless arguments. This was also just very funny, what I loved about Shrill and Shit Actually was also here, such a treat to read (and listening to her own narration made it even better!)
