And just like that, I managed to devour the (*mournful sighing*) last book in this fantastic and totally endearing series in *checks time* a few hours.
That might be a record for me. To be fair, these books are fairly short, just under 200 pages, but still. I can't believe I managed to inhale these lovely, lovely books in so little time. I already miss the Kismet pack so damn much.
"Wolf Reborn" was absolutely fabulous. I can't choose a favourite since all of these books are precisely my kind of jam: it would be like choosing a favourite child.
Gavin and Miles' story was fantastic. Much more steamier than the previous ones, with a bit more relationship angst, but still wonderfully romantic and emotional, with all the usual found-family pack dynamics that make the wolf shifter genre so utterly irresistible to me. I loved the story, I loved how Miles managed to bloom and thrive, even when his world was completely upended, I loved how slowly, but surely, Gavin finally ends up opening up and getting the help from his family he needs. Gah, this series is such a little gem. Any fan of the omegaverse genre, but in general, any fan of a good paranormal story, should read it. All around chef kissing, and if I could rate this series 6 stars, I would.
