I love the world building and concept of this book, but it is painfully slow. I found it almost difficult to get through at times after long periods of almost nothing happening. I still enjoyed it, but it was a chore to get through at some points. Herbert's method of world building takes a bit of time to get used to, as all of the explanation is done in an encyclopedia at the back. I was very confused before I figured it out.
