The world of Raybearer is rich, the characters have clear voices, and the story twists and winds like braids. The plot moved very quickly, and we sometimes didn’t take time in the text to really sit with what happened. This kept us driving towards our goal, and forced me to think about it all whenever I wasn’t reading, which I do appreciate.
