When is the movie adaption?!

This book was the perfect balance of suspense and mystery! It had been a long time since I finished a book in 24 hours but the story of this island was impossible to look away from (I was reading this book during my break at work instead of my usual mindless scrolling through tiktok to pass the time... that is HIGH praise).

Wainikka has a wonderful tone to her narration and the way in which she builds each scene makes you feel as though you’re seated in a cinema (I could just imagine that last scene zooming out and fading to black with the sound of waves *chef’s kiss*)
