First read this in 2020 and loved it even more upon my reread in 2022.
This short book features a diverse and loveable crew with great relationships, as well as a very interesting and engaging storyline. It asks us (literally) if space exploration is worthwhile and what role humanity plays in the universe. It reads like a love letter to science (and scientists) while taking care to be understandable to everyone. I love everything Becky Chambers has ever written but this one might be my favourite of hers.
