The blurb of the book summarises pretty well what to expect from this book. What it doesn't say is that you will be immersed in the MCs' constant flow of thoughts. Mickey might be good at talking, and Stirling might be more taciturn, but they do both have quite entertaining internal dialogues. Quite a few times the author just skipped the actual dialogue between the two preferring to simply summarise the content of the conversation rather than explicitly writing the words that were exchanged. So be prepared to roll your eyes when Mickey apparent insecurities get the upper hand over rational thinking; you might also wish to hug Stirling and tell him that he is doing a great job at this Daddy-thing.

An overall enjoyable read, with great side characters. Looking forward to reading the second book of the series.
