This installment was a definite improvement over the last book, even though I wasn't really begging for a story about Lundy. I really liked the concept of the doorway we explored here - the Goblin Market seemed really cool and the concept that being in debt literally turned you into a bird was wonderful and novel.
But I felt like every cool thing happened off page! All of the fights and loss and adventures were things that were only mentioned in passing after they occurred, and we were left with the in between moments. I still liked what I read and found it interesting, but if this had been a full novel where we could have gotten a more full feel for the scope of Lundy's time in the Market, I feel it would have been much more effective.
