What a beautiful book! It follows Baxter and Mia through her grief and healing process after they lost their wife/mother, Sofia 3 years ago. They make their way to Spain to spend some time with Sofia's family they just recently discovered. That is the place where both begin to live again.

I hadn't finish chapter 2 and I was already crying. My heart broke for the two. The moment they decided to visit Sofia's family, I knew it will be hard but also healing for them.
Baxter's worries are very relatable I can totally understand that he only wants the best for Mia. His character is growing through the story and it warmed my heart seeing him and Mia and the Spanish part of the family connect with each other.
I loved to get to know the Arroyo family and I was flying through this book. The writting style is beautiful and captivating. As a child my family and I spent every summer holiday in Spain, the setting made me feel very nostalgic. The perfect summer read for me actually!
The little details and thoughts that flowed into the story made it very lively and beautiful. If you're ever going to visit Spain let me tell you, you want a small car!
