Glimmers of You by Catherine Cowles
5.0
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: anything Catherine Cowles writes, I will DEVOUR.
I was not expecting Caden and Grae, even though I knew their story was coming, I could have never imagined the perfection that is them.
The mutual longing, the friendship, the chronic health rep… it was all so absolutely perfect. And I always love how Catherine manages to weave together the toxic family with the more-than-wonderful family to create the best found family storylines out there.
The audio was PHENOMENAL with Joe Arden and Erin Mallon narrating – I felt like I was watching a movie with them in my ear!!
While this series is definitely interconnected standalones, I really loved the build up of watching the tension between Caden and Grae in previous books. It felt as though the pay off in this one was all the more powerful, and it made their chemistry even hotter!
While I love the heat and the romance, I love Catherine’s ability to weave suspense into all facets of her stories – and while it makes me question if I ever want to live in that town where everyone seems to have a target on their back, I love the camaraderie and love that is shared within the small town, too.
GAH. I cannot get enough of these books and waiting for the next one will be torture, but it’s so worth it. Go read it NOW! I promise you’ll love it!!
