I thought I was a decent writer, pretty okay even. But I’ve come to the realization that my writing will never be as good as Jandy Nelson’s and that’s okay because god guys, we get to live in a world where her writing exists, where the book I’ll Give You The Sun exists and that’s more than okay. Because that book broke my heart in all the best ways. 
Seriously, please read I’ll Give You The Sun. It is more than worth it.
