This Woven Kingdom by Tahereh Mafi

4.0

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Though this was a little cringe in places, a tad predictable and not the most original work I’ve read, I really enjoyed it (this may stem from my love and devotion to the Queen that is Tahereh Mafi btw).

This was super faced pace and happened over the course of only a couple of days which meant I found it super easy to read (especially for a fantasy). I didn’t find the world-building info dumpy which I appreciated greatly, I was able to root for the main characters, there were enough side characters for me to enjoy without overshadowing the mcs and without overwhelming the reader. Because this book occurs over a very short span of time the romance is too quick for my liking but it is in no way a dealbreaker for me. I’m excited to see where Mafi takes this, and will definitely be reading the rest of the series.
