I picked up Gleanings by Neal Shusterman to finish out the Arc of the Scythe series, and it was an interesting collection of short stories featuring characters both familiar and new. While most of the stories felt a bit underwhelming, I did enjoy learning about Scythe Goddard’s path to scythedom and catching up with a few of the main characters. Overall, it added some nice insights but wasn’t as strong as the main books.
