I love this book and it's nerdy bookworm author. If you are an avid reader, at all interested in the golden age of publishing you will devour this biography. In addition to the peek into Gottlieb's life and the inner workings of Simon & Schuster, Knopf, and The New Yorker, this book prompted me to add several books to my TBR list--beginning with Dorothy Dunnett's, "A Game of Kings".
