This books was so dark and a little lore dumpy so I might need to go back a reread to fully understand what exactly is going on but I really enjoyed it otherwise. Arcanics are in a truce with the humans but there’s still bloodshed on both sides. A girl Maika has the power of some unknown beast lurking in her mind and under her skin. I want to know more about her story and I can’t wait to pick up the next volume!
