King of Pride by Ana Huang
5.0
I liked this book WAY more than I expected to. The blurb wasn’t as catching as the others, however the storyline had me hooked. I couldn’t put it down!
The fmc Isabella is more relatable (for me) than any of the past characters I’d read about in Ana Huang’s Twisted series, and King of Wrath.
I also thought Kai was going to be a snoozefest, but his competitive streak and the insight to his personality away from the spotlight had me captivated.
The way Isa and Kai’s relationship unfolded was fun to read about, and I love the incorporation of the characters from the Twisted series (however brief their appearance/mention)
