I absolutely loved Iris and Declan's story. I loved seeing them both develop throughout the book and I loved how Lauren made sure to include aspects of black women's culture. I was addicted to watching their love story unfold, and I couldn't even put the book down it was that good :)

Seth is the worst father I've ever read about in a while. My heart broke for how Rowan was treated and it cracked when I read how Declan was treated and the abuse he went through. I know my heart will shatter after reading Cal's book though.

The friendship between Iris and Cal was adorable and they were so funny together. I loved how Iris and Declan communicated with one word and I loved how much he changed for her even before they got together.

I highly recommend, it's a very cute romance book!
