This was the best memior I've read all year. I was shocked to discover this was Dena Takruri's first book because it was so incredibly well written. Taking the political situation in Palestine and shrinking it down to the life of one young woman made it somehow easier to comprehend, yet no less impactful.
Ahed Tamimi is so inspiring in her strength and resistance. This is a tough read but an important one.
