"people aren't so bad, really, it's what the world does to them."
this book was so good omg. i put off reading it for so long because i didn't want to read what i thought would be some sort of villain redemption arc/backstory about snow, because i hate him, but that's not at all what the book is. in fact, the book just shows how clearly selfish he was from the very beginning and how he only ever wanted to protect himself and the capitol and ended up betraying everyone he ever loved. it's really sad but really really good, suzanne collins is nothing short of an aboslute GENIUS. rip lucy and sejanus you deserved better ðŸ˜
