Moderate: Cancer, Suicide, and Schizophrenia/Psychosis
Minor: Adult/minor relationship, Child abuse, and Medical content
The narrator’s sister believes she was sexually abused by her parents—mainly her father. Some of these memories are part of psychosis, but it is possible some of it is true. To the narrator’s sister, at least, the abuse was very real. She does not give explicit details of the abuse but it is a recurring theme in “You Can Say Goodbye.”
