We loved this book. Juana is a little girl from Colombia who loves Astroman. She has to learn English at school and just does not see the point. Her grandpa convinces her to learn English so she can talk to Astroman in the USA. This motivates her and she begins to enjoy learning English. As a bilingual & ELL teacher, that aspect of the story was so sweet. We also enjoyed the illustrations. Very creatively put together.
