The Runebearer Curse is the third book in The Demon-Sleuth Scrolls series. After ending The Black-Horned Grave with a massive cliffhanger, Dan takes us into this book with even more angst, mysteries, and tension.

But this time, Nysska has her own battles which she cannot (yet) share with her friends. We are showered with twist and turns and highly emotional moments, and get a taste of Nysska's intelligence. The things she does, how she goes about doing them, what she goes through, and survives... it's nothing short of amazing.

Action-packed with the occasional sarcasm, the chef's kiss worldbuilding, and the never-saw-it-coming but amazing ending to this last book in the series make this book (and series) a one-of-a-kind murder mystery fantasy read.
