I simply adore KJ Charles. Her books are delightful and sweet, and always so well-written. This was almost up there with [b:Band Sinister|39345944|Band Sinister|K.J. Charles|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1537454594l/39345944._SY75_.jpg|60995770], my absolute favorite of hers that I've read. The surrounding plot of smugglers and crime felt just as important as Gareth and Joss' romance, and she certainly knows how to create nail-biting suspense. I'm so excited to read the sequel.
