Like many people here I had a hard time connecting to the story and main characters at first. The random 1-2 page chapters did nothing for me but drag me out of the story and made me put away the book.

I decided to give the book another try a few weeks later. I read about 1/3 and after which I decided to fully skip those “chapters” and it made it more enjoyable to read and made me appreciate how beautiful the story was.
