Excuse me while I rant about how amazing this book was. Oh my gods, I loved this book so much. A Halloween Christmas crossover featuring a romance between their princes? Sign me up. The romance of this was a slow burn grumpy x sunshine vibe with the prince of Christmas being a total bi disaster for the prince of Halloween, especially when said prince of Halloween is wearing a corset.
🎃 Hex was such an amazing character, bringing all the goth spooky vibes Halloween could offer. However, his character depth was what really made me love his character the most. The only negative thing to say is that we didn’t get his POV as well.
🎄 Cole was definitely the more reckless of the two and never had a day in his life that he wasn’t getting into some sort of trouble. However, he’s also a really lovable character and seeing him get all flustered around Hex was amazing.
There is an interesting level of political intrigue in this book which I wasn’t expecting, but I think it balanced things out really well and had a good resolved ending. Santa being a greedy ho ho ho and trying to arrange unwanted marriages, deals behind closed doors, corporate greed, really the works of being on the naughty list.
Overall, the plot was great, the romance *chefs kiss*, and the humor was amazing; especially in the text messages and group chat names.
