A Queen's Game by Katharine McGee

5.0

Inspired by real people, A Queen’s Game was so good I started and finished it in a single day. Alix of Hesse, Helene d’Orleans, and May of Teck may run in the same circles, but their goals are very different. From wanting to find true love to wanting to find safety and security in finding the right match, this YA historical romance will keep you enraptured from start to finish.

I used both eyes and ears to read/listen and I highly recommend both. The narrator, Imogen Wilde, brought all of her skills voicing so many characters from differing countries that the transitions were seamless during the dialogue portions. Seriously well done!

The book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger so I’ll be waiting on pins and needles until the next installment!
