I loved everything about this book. I have never read anything by Lucy Score. This came up as a suggestion on goodreads and I thought “why not?”

I immediately fell in love with the characters and the dialogue. I loved the writing style as well.

It had all my favourite tropes and handled some of them in fresh ways. I don’t know how, but Score managed to get mafia-esque tropes into a small town country book. Throw in a kid in need, grumpy/sunshine, and a protective man and this book hit every one of my favourites.

I am DYING to get the next book in my hands.
