sometimes things come into our lives at just the right moment. and when they do, they feel like small pieces of magic. a gift from the universe.

THE INHERITANCE OF ORQUÍDEA DIVINA was one of those small pieces of magic for me. It came into my life at a time when I was grappling with loss and grief, legacy and family. it grabbed me by my heartstrings, took me on an incredible journey that spanned generations, countries, and lives, and laid bare the complicated and intricate nature of family, power, and love. it provided me with a sense of peace and belonging in this vast universe that I didn’t know I was looking for. magic.

I could go on and on about the many mini mysteries and narratives on intergenerational trauma and self-determination woven into the pages. about the beautifully crafted characters and lush descriptive writing. about the gorgeous cover (😍).

but I’ll leave it at this: this story was a much needed small piece of magic. 🥀
