the first 20 pages really fooled me. i was ready to put this book down with no remorse. don’t do that. this is a beautiful story of a young girl dealing with grief written in the inspiring way. not only the grief of the loss of her mother but her home, her anchor, her sense of comfort. all this mixed with the feeling and struggles of a everyday teenagers.
