Everyone Who Can Forgive Me Is Dead by Jenny Hollander

4.0

Told from two timelines and from the viewpoint of one of the survivors, this novel will grab you from the start and you will want to find out what lies Charlie told the police after “The Scarlet Christmas” and what she really remembers about the night three classmates were killed. Mental illness, trauma, PTSD all play a huge role in this fascinating look at how people try to cope with tragedy. The author did an exceptional job of telling the story in such a way that the reader makes certain assumptions about what happened. Assumptions which will lead to lots of twists and surprises as we eventually learn the real truth about what happened during Scarlet Christmas.
