Everything in the Heartstopper world gets five stars from me!! I adore these characters so much. It’s so interesting to switch up the format here. I appreciated getting more of Nick and Char’s internal musings with the text-only format, but it’s fascinating that it didn’t feel that different from the graphic novels. Oseman still gives the reader so much insight into their feelings and thoughts in the graphic format, using a tiny fraction of text and her amazing illustrations. And here, in text only, I could easily imagine their facial expressions and mannerisms. All to say that Oseman is so incredibly talented.
