Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano

This book served up story three ways, one from one character's perspective, the second the same scene from a different character's perspective, and the third in exposition. Personally I'm a spare-prose slut but am beginning to accept the modern reader responds positively to this level of access and I am the one who is out of fashion.

HB shines in its portrayal of depression within a relationship. I've been both the depressed partner and the partner of a depressed person and I felt both points of view were represented with sensitivity and honesty.

Still, the world is exhausting me with it's overwriting and I would have gotten a lot more out of story one and a half ways.
