THAT ENDING OMG! i'm going to be honest, i was skeptical during the first half of this book because it wasn't the court politics intrigue i was promised, but it turned out to be that and so much more! when the dark underbelly of the court started truly making itself known, this book had me even more hooked than i already was. the characters, the magic, the setting, all of it was so engrossing. PLUS THAT ENDING WAS CRIMINAL! i can't wait for the second book cause i need to know what happens!!
