I made it half way through before deciding it was too grim. Basically after the climate apocalypse has occurred, Indigenous people are hunted for their bone marrow (there's a reason), so our hero's found family is on the run through the woods around James Bay, Ontario. It was basically unending terrible things happening with promise of more to come, and I wasn't getting much out of it.
