Don't Think of Tigers by Alex Latimer

4.0

Age: Preschool+
Animals: Tigers
Art: Drawing

The illustrator of this book invites the reader to play a game: Think of any animal and with the turn of a page, they will draw it! BUT the illustrator is *terrible* at drawing tigers (their words, not mine) so definitely DON'T think of a tiger. Contrary children will love this silly game of foiling the illustrator. But the illustrator decides to reverse their defeatist attitude towards drawing tigers and, instead, practices until they get better. What an excellent message of perseverance!
