While I love the concept of the book, it does feel a bit like it collapses under it's own weight. As with any book that tries to tell the story through multiple perspectives, it's hard to have stories that consistently resonate, leading to some chapters feeling like filler or less interesting. I wanted to poke this a lot more than I did, but by the end, I definitely found myself finally coming around to some of the narratives that were initially less interesting to me. My biggest issue to be honest was the shifting chronology between chapters, which I found jarring from time to time.
