“Beauty is terror. Whatever we call beautiful, we quiver before it.”

I don't know what I expected from this book but this was not it. I think this is the type of book that goes down in history as a classic.

Also this book has some of the most terrible and pretentious and terrible and narcissists and homophobes and just fucked up characters I have ever read about. The whole time I kept thinking to myself 'This character is messed up and terrible' but then also I could not stop reading?
The vibe this book has is just *chefs kiss*. This was a perfect fall read.

I think this is the type of book that's going to stay with me for a long long time.
